MSc Course Admissions

The normal requirement for entry to the programme is at least a good honours degree. There is no preference for any academic discipline given that environmental issues cut across disciplinary boundaries. The programme caters for interested and enthusiastic students from the social sciences, engineering, humanities, life sciences and physical sciences. Two letters of reference are required. In exceptional circumstances applicants who do not have a first degree are admitted onto the programme on the strength of their professional and work experience.

Overseas students for whom English is not their first language must produce a TOEFL score of at least 550 (213 on the computer-based test)or an IELTS score of at least 6. This should have been obtained within two years prior to the start date of the programme.
