Postgraduate Research Studies (MPhil/PhD)

CES has a thriving and supportive multi-disciplinary and internationally diverse postgraduate research student group which currently encompasses around fifteen different nationalities.

Our postgraduate research students take an active part in a range of activities within CES, both intellectual and social. Participation in our suite of one week modules covering a range of topics within environmental strategy is encouraged. Postgraduate research students also take part in our active seminar series where monthly seminars are presented by external speakers, and regular internal seminars are given by staff and postgraduate research students.

PhD Profile

"A higher degree at CES will challenge you, reward you and sometimes infuriate you...but it will never bore you! CES is a wonderful place to learn and to grow: I certainly did, and I have never looked back." - Dr Philip Sinclair
